Dear World,
Sitting with Hedda and the night’s not quite right
There’s something that’s stirring just out of sight
Don’t be too worried, I don’t think he’ll bite–
the ghost of dear Ibsen is a foolhardy fright.
Hauntedly yours,
Thea
Dear world,
I would also like to point out that Jennifer and Jojo had a very productive meeting this evening. Among other things, they addressed production concerns and publicity concerns. Not to mention writing concerns. I am deeply unconcerned with their concern, but anticipate great progress. Like Lovborg’s book, this endeavor will depend on their diligence. If I was able to persuade him to stop drinking long enough to complete his manuscript, I shall certainly persevere again now.
Yours,
Thea
Dear World,
It seems Hedda and I will once more be gracing the stages of New York City. While we still anticipate our eventual debut at the Imperial, Hedda has generously agreed to make a one night appearance at Dixon Place. (Hedda is keen to explore her hip, downtown side and sees this as a decidedly fortuitous opportunity).
Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 23rd, at 7:30pm at the preeminent Dixon Place.
161 Chrystie St, New York, NY 10002
(212) 219-0736
Tickets are in the realm of $10/15 and fine Norwegian cocktails will be available for purchase at the show.
We will be thrilled to see you all once more as we explore the intricacies of stepping into our musical theater roles.
Sincerely,
Ever your,
Thea
It seems I cannot release the need to recompose the manuscript. A born dramaturg am I. After years annotating Lovborg’s work, it seems only right that my skills should be put to use to serve Hedda’s needs (and mine). As I review the notes I took for Hedda Gabler Stars in She Loves Me (featuring Thea), I am struck by the great heights we reached in just our first attempts.
Given the opportunity, I know our portrayals of Amalia and Ilona will dazzle the world over.
Sincerely,
Thea
Dear world,
Thea here. It’s late and I’ve been looking back at the good times Hedda and I spent together on She Loves Me. While our rehearsals were not always on schedule (apologies Sir Ian), they produced emotional depth I never quite suspected. Hedda always seemed so fierce, so independent, so impossibly distant and majestically aloof. Like a fjord. Whose depths contained naught but glacier ice water. But it was a fragile frigidity. You would be surprised at the warmth frozen within.
You will see.
Pensively,
Thea
Dear world,
Hedda Gabler and I are preparing to revisit our production of She Loves Me. We’ve been traveling the world and life sometimes gets in the way. But with grit and determination I’ve persuaded Hedda that this show will indeed increase her fame. (Not that she needs it… I mean… She’s not online, is she?)
Now that I am no longer in a custody battle with the Sheriff (I never wanted his children), I am free to return to the stage.
Much excitement will ensue.
Love,
Thea

Dear world,
In attendance at our open rehearsal in 2013, we had the most wonderful friends. I mean, almost as wonderful as Hedda.
Yours,
Thea
